Purchased 2 of these units, one for my wireless ADSL router (Netgear DG834Gv2) and one for the UltraWap v2. Replacing the stock 2dB antenna on teh Netgear with one of these double the signal in all areas that werent previously full reception. The magbase is great as it holds the unit to my window frames. I found the vertical performance of this unit was not as good as the 5dBi whip, but that may relate to the orientation of the aerial at the point of testing. This was not a problem as I have one of these on each floor of the house. Great product.
