Simple, Easy, Preconfigured, Versatile Mesh Nodes.
We can ship you a multi-node mesh network - that can be thought of as failure-tolerant, distributed, virtual LAN switch.
Preconfigured
. Just install and plug in. We pre-configure each node to link with all other mesh nodes that are ordered as a set. You can order additional nodes later, and we will pre-configure them to join your existing mesh. (We will need to know the order number for the original mesh).
Versatile
. You can use the mesh for these applications:
Connecting LAN segments and/or computers
IP Cameras
TCP/IP Instrumentation devices
Access Points (APs). Adding an AP to a
Mesh Node
makes a
MeshAP
("MAP"). Users can then connect to the AP (e.g. with their 2.4 GHz laptops) and use the mesh.
etc
Each Mesh is Separate
. Mesh nodes will only communicate with members of the same mesh. If two separate meshes are near each other, traffic will not pass between the meshes wirelessly.
Fault Tolerant
. If one mesh node fails, the other mesh nodes will re-route traffic around that node.
Virtual LAN Switch
. Think of the mesh as a big LAN switch. Each
Mesh Node
has one Ethernet port where you can plug in a device such as a PC, or a real LAN switch to connect multiple devices.
5 GHz
. While we can make 2.4 or 5 GHz meshes, our standard is 5 GHz as this is a less congested band.
Network Speed
As data packets are likely to be re-transmitted among the nodes in your mesh, the end-to-end data bandwidth is affected as in the table below.

100% corresponds to maximum data transmission speed between two Mesh Nodes, which is 18 Mbps in ideal conditions.
Example:
Mesh Nodes: 5
Conditions: Ideal
Worst Case bandwidth: Data pass through all 5 nodes. 18 Mbps x 25% = 4.5 Mbps
Best Case bandwidth: Data pass through 2 nodes. 18 Mbps x 100% = 18 Mbps
Distance Between Nodes
These distances assume
Ideal Conditions
- absolute clear Line of Sight (LOS) between antennas.
