For use with Power over Ethernet cables. This Splitter connects to
- Any device with a 2.1 mm DC Socket
- Any standard CAT5/LAN socket. (e.g. a WiFi Access Point)
Typical Use
The usual use of the splitter is shown in the diagram below. Note: All items in the diagram except the Splitter are not included in this product.
The Splitter separates LAN data and DC power from a standard CAT5 cable. At the other end of the LAN cable can is either a POE Injector (not included in this product), or a POE compatible LAN switch.
Wiring
The wiring is compatible with the 802.11af equipment.
