For use with devices that are Power over Ethernet (POE) compatible. This Injector connects to
- Any DC power supply with a 2.1 mm DC Plug
- Any standard CAT5/LAN socket. (e.g. a PC LAN interface or a LAN switch)
Typical Use
The usual use of the injector is shown in the diagram below. Note: All items in the diagram except the Injector are not included in this product.
The Injector combines LAN data and DC power onto a standard CAT5 cable. At the other end of the LAN cable can is either a POE Splitter (not included in this product), or a POE compatible device.
